Kristy's story starts out in Kissimmee, FL or better known as "the suburb of Walt Disney World." Thanks to the numerous rides on the It's a Small World attraction, Kristy's interest in the cultures of the world was sparked early. From there she wound up in the America's heartland, where she attended the William Inge Center for the Arts in Independence, KS. Here she studied playwriting under a number of accomplished playwrights, including Chicago's own, Lisa Dillman. Her favorite acting experiences here included A Macbeth, a deconstruction of Shakespeare's play, where she was introduced to the Suzuki method, A Servant of Two Master, a commedia dell'arte piece, and Brecht's Happy End.

From Florida, to Kansas, to Chicago, Kristy is excited to see where this journey with Geopolis takes her next.
